F3 AFO and good support

I ordered the F3 Carbon Fiber AFO after my physical therapist recommended it. The ordering process was pretty straightforward on their website; I just made sure to measure carefully beforehand based on their guide. Shipping took about 6 days to get to my home in Texas, which was within the timeframe they quoted. When it arrived, the brace felt sturdy and well-made, not flimsy at all. I had a small question about adjusting the straps, so I called customer service. The person I spoke with was helpful and explained it clearly without making me feel rushed. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it's definitely improved my walking stability. It's comfortable enough for all-day wear, though it took a day or two to get used to it. Overall, a solid product and good experience.

Got a knee brace, it's fine

I got one of their Hinged Knee Braces after I messed up my knee. It took about 5 days to reach Denver, which was okay. The brace itself seems pretty decent. It's not too bulky and gives good support when I'm walking around. Putting it on was a little tricky the first time, but I got the hang of it. It's helped with the pain and I can move around better now. Overall, it's been a pretty good experience, no big complaints.

Love my new ankle brace!

Oh my goodness, I just received my Lace-Up Ankle Brace and I am so happy with it! It fits perfectly and feels incredibly supportive. My old brace was so bulky, but this one is sleek and comfortable. I can actually wear it in my regular shoes, which is a huge plus. The shipping was fast too, got it in just a few days! I'm definitely going to recommend Thrive Orthopedics to all my friends who need support. I'll be back for sure!

Hey, wondering how long shipping usually takes for the carbon fiber AFOs? Need one pretty quick for my dad.

D Derek Vargas 3 weeks ago
Mine got here in like 4 days, I'm in California. They ship pretty fast.

I think it depends where you are. I'm on the east coast and it was about a week for me. They say 3-7 business days most of the time.

Anyone know how the F3 compares to the F5 AFO? What's the main difference besides the number?

M Mark E. 4 weeks ago
F3 is more for everyday support, F5 is a bit stiffer, more performance-oriented. If you're super active, F5 might be better.

The F5 felt more rigid to me, which I needed. F3 is still good, just a different level of support. Depends on your specific foot drop situation.

Are these braces actually FDA cleared? Like, for real? Saw some other brands that aren't.

R Raj Bennett 1 month ago
Yeah, they are. I checked it out before I bought mine. Gives some peace of mind.

I believe so, most medical devices like this have to be. Good question though!

Can I use my HSA card to pay for these? Or is it like, only certain products?

R Rosa 1 month ago
Yep, most of their stuff is HSA/FSA eligible. I used mine for an ankle brace, no problem.

Yeah, pretty sure all the medical braces qualify. They usually mention it on the product pages too.

Thinking about getting the F3 AFO, but I'm worried about sizing. How accurate are their measurements? Anyone have issues?

G Gwen Foster 1 month ago
Follow their guide exactly, you should be fine. I had my wife help me measure and it fit perfectly.

Mine was a little snug at first, but it broke in. Just make sure to double-check your measurements against their chart. If it's way off, returns are pretty straightforward though.

Does anyone know if the 10% off for new customers works if you also try to use a free shipping code? Trying to stack some savings.

B Beth Carter 1 month ago
Nah, usually you can only use one code at checkout. Tried it last month, didn't work for me.

G Greg 1 month ago
Pretty sure they don't let you stack 'em. Most places don't. You gotta pick which one saves you more.

How's the return policy if I don't like it or if it doesn't fit right? Is it a hassle?

A Alex H. 3 weeks ago
Nah, returns were pretty easy for me. Just followed their instructions on the website and got my refund quickly.

I returned an elbow brace once. No issues, just make sure you keep the original packaging and do it within their timeframe.
